    Thank you for the day.
The networks created by talking to others and sharing ideas was really great!
    The presentations were informative.
Having the day to reflect and plan was extremely valuable.
For the next session it would be good to share any other free bits and pieces that are available that make better use of the computers and it’s programs (like Sharpshooter this time).
Will the CEO be licencing any other programs this year?
I think it would be handy for all the new ICLT people to have a list of all the IT support people at the CEO so they know who to contact if they have a problem. This would also be good for everyone as roles have changed.

I found today to be valuable for the following reasons:
    – it gave me the opportunity to look at some updates in applications,
    - it allowed me to talk and listen to others
    - I discovered that our school is better than most and not as well resourced as some
    – time to explore was great but I would have liked to have had information with me that would allow me to complete my wiki
    Next time
    – feedback of how goals are progressing
    – what ideas worked and what didn’t
    – continue to explore applications
    – time to talk about issues and maybe brainstorm solutions?

It was great to have the time to share ideas and also to share problems and some possible solutions that are happening within schools.
I found it useful to be shown iLife09 and Scootle, it has given me some more resources to be able to take back to school and share with staff and also to use in my classroom.
It would be good to be able to have some more sharing time at our next session and also some more me time to explore and use various tools.
I found the whole day extremely valuable.

Basically it is all good today. The demos were valuable and the opportunity to chat with others very valuable.
I guess where I am at is I need ideas to engage the unwilling IT user on staff. (How do I set fire to dead wood?) I offer classes at a group level, and even one on one if they wish, but I still cannot engage some teachers. These teachers then complain about the lack of printers at the school because their only idea is word processing.
A look at cutting edge technology would be interesting to see as well.
Perhaps some sharing on tasks/projects that demonstrate best practise.

I would be interested in looking at both wikis and blogs at next session

Thanks Sherryn and Mark. A very worthwhile day. Great to share ideas. As usual always a lot to take in and go away to play with. I`d love to see you try and set up a workshop where teachers share what they have used well in the classroom- thanks,
    see you next time

An extremely valuable day. Gave me lots of great ideas that I am keen to share with my colleagues and implement in the classroom.

The mytime for exploring was fantastic.

For day two I’d like to have opportunities for all attending to bring at least one idea they have created to share.

Thanks for a great day, very informative and it will help keep me up to date with some great technology. The input /and time to explore ‘ilife’ was very beneficial as was the sharing of resources. Next time….. sharing of practical ideas.

Thanks for a good day. I was a bit frustrated because I didn’t have a computer that could cope with the tasks – but that was probably my fault. I need more time to play, with someone experienced close by, so more time on scootle, blogs, wikis, etc. etc.etc.
We also would benefit from sharing some successful teaching strategies using the tools mentioned.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to talk to others about how they manage ICLT in their school. Also it was important to discuss the SRI and we were given some good resources. Next time I would like to see examples of what teachers are doing in their classroom with technology. Thanks for a great day!

  •   Melissa Allen // Feb 23rd 2009 at 2:57 pm

Great variety with both structured sharing and focus on the goals/needs for SRI as well as opportunity to try out new things with your here as support. More direction with SRI would have been useful.

Some great ideas from other people who are doing the same job.

Thanks guys for a great day. It’s great to be able to speak to other LT coordinators and discuss issues and ideas. The chance to explore iLife 09 was really interesting and valuable. I always like to keep up to date with what’s new and how we can use it at a school level.

It is valuable to hear what is happening in other schools and get ideas of where to go to from here. Getting some trouble shooting ideas. A good opportunity to find out about some new resources that are available.

Time to ‘play with’ new resources and ask questions from the experts are valuable.

My major concern is troubleshooting technical problems. I know I am dreaming but I would love there to be more technical support in the schools. Ideally a person to be employed to service a few schools.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Hi again,
just another idea for next time…perhaps we could be in grade/stage gps where people get the chance to talk about what we have done ( if anything) with a particular grade.

Sorry I was unable to be there on the day but judging from the responses it was a valuable day.
