Edublogs is a powerful piece of social software that educators can use to develop blogs, which have the potential to transform the learning environment. Blogs are an excellent tool to develop students’ reading, writing and thinking skills and can be used effectively across all curriculum areas.
Blogs are an interactive tool which enable teachers to SHARE student work, encourage REFLECTIVE THINKING and promote ONLINE INTERACTION through the ASKING of thought provoking questions and the STIMULATING of new questions.
This piece of social software also enables educators to post resources online and integrate multimedia , such as slideshows and movies.
Click on the images below to visit some examples of blogs used in the primary setting.

I had a great day it was good meeting other IT persons. Thanks for the presentations. I started to make a My classes page just on IT. So I can add web sites and other help sheets I have already made. Hopefully this will empower other teachers in my school.
